The easily worn parts of centrifugal fans are blades and volutes, of which the fans used in power plants are the most serious.
1. Blade wear
① Forward blade. The blades of the 7-29 pulverized coal fan in the pulverized coal system are mostly worn at the blade inlet, outlet and near the root of the rear disc.
②Radial straight blade. The straight-blow pulverizing system adopts the straight blades of the 0.4-90° radial fan of the former Soviet Union, which are generally in a sawtooth shape, and the wear parts are mostly at the blade exit, which is gradually reduced from the blade exit inward.
③ Backward airfoil blades. The severe wear of the rear-facing airfoil blades is the exit section and the blade head on the side close to the rear disc. After the blade head is worn, it is easy to enter coal ash in the blade cavity, which will destroy the rotor balance and cause relative vibration.
④ Backward straight blades. The wear part of the backward straight blade suction fan is on the side of the blade outlet near the center plate.
2. Wear of the volute
The more severely worn parts of various centrifugal fan volutes are near the volute tongue. Generally, from the volute tongue, the parts where the 1/6 to 1/4 worm line is sung are more severely worn.
