Axial Fan Installation And Maintenance Instructions


1. Installation and use

First, unpack and check whether each part of the fan is deformed or damaged during transportation. If this happens, it should be repaired and corrected before it can be officially installed and used.

1. Open the junction box, turn on the power to run (no load), the impeller rotation direction is the same as the arrow on the nameplate, the fan shell needs to be grounded, and observe whether it touches the shell. If this happens, adjust it immediately.

2. The fan wiring flange should be connected to canvas or other flexible pipes to facilitate the vibration isolation of the fan and the pipeline. The fan should not bear the weight of the external air pipe. The connection between the roof fan and the foundation and the connection of the split hood should be added with vibration reduction Cushion, and add sealant to avoid air leakage.

3. The fan is installed in place and all fasteners must be tightened again.

4. After the fan inlet and outlet pipes and all nearby obstacles are removed, it can be put into use officially.

2. Maintenance and maintenance

1. Once there is a problem with the fan, it should be shut down immediately for inspection.

2. Regularly remove foreign objects in the front and rear pipes of the fan to prevent accidents. Regularly replace the lubricating grease in the transmission part. The fan should be protected from rain in the open air.

3. In case of changes in working conditions, valves should be used to adjust the air volume.

4. Regularly measure the current of the fan motor. Under normal circumstances, the measured current should be less than the rated current.


3. Normal wind failure analysis

1. Vibration (can be checked from the following aspects);

A. When the impeller rubs when it rotates, abnormal sound and intense vibration will occur. The reason is that the fan shell or impeller parts are deformed during storage, transportation, installation, and use.

b. During storage, transportation, installation, and use, the transmission part or the casing deformed impeller is damaged in balance. The reasons are as follows: the impeller is deformed under pressure; the connection between the impeller and the shaft sleeve is loose; the main shaft is deformed due to improper hoisting; the fixed screw of the motor is loose;

c Fan foot bolts are not tightened.

2. Fever: After running for one hour at room temperature, if the motor temperature rises too high, it may be caused by one of the following reasons;

a. Excessive system resistance or unreasonable fan selection may cause the motor to run overloaded. The reason is that the resistance coefficient of the pipe network is too large or the valve of the pipe coefficient is not opened.

b. The motor bearing is damaged, and the matching clearance is small, which does not meet the requirements;

c The motor is running in phase failure or the wiring is wrong;

d The power supply voltage is too low.


4. Power saving methods for fans

1. Minimize the resistance of the pipe network, choose the pipe size and installation position reasonably, and install an inlet collector.

2. Control the radial clearance value between the air duct and the top of the blade.

3. Choose the fan model reasonably, and don't make the fan operate in the low efficiency area.

4. If the fan impeller is used separately, it must be equipped with a suitable motor
