Centrifugal fan is a machine used to compress and transport gas. From an energy point of view, it is a machine that converts the mechanical energy of the prime mover into gas energy.
Correct maintenance is an important guarantee for the safe and reliable operation of the fan and the improvement of the service life of the fan. Therefore, we must pay full attention to the use of fans.
3.1. Repair and maintenance of impeller
In the early stage of impeller operation and all regular inspections, whenever there is a chance, the impeller must be inspected for defects such as cracks, wear, and dust.
Whenever possible, the impeller must be kept clean, and the dust and rust on it must be regularly brushed with a wire brush, because as the running time increases, these dusts cannot be uniformly attached to the impeller, resulting in The balance of the impeller is broken, causing the rotor to vibrate.
As long as the impeller is repaired, it needs to be dynamically balanced. If possible, you can use a portable test balancer to balance on site. Before performing dynamic balancing, it is necessary to check whether all tightening bolts are tightened. Because the impeller has been operating in an unbalanced state for some time, these bolts may have been loosened.
3.2. Maintenance of the casing and air intake chamber
Except for regular inspections of the casing and intake chamber for severe wear and removal of severe dust accumulation, other special maintenance is not required for these parts.
Regularly check whether all fastening bolts are tight. For fans with compression bolts, press the butterfly springs on the feet to the installation height specified in the drawings. Say
3.3. Maintenance of bearing
Frequently check the oil supply of the bearing lubricating oil. If there is oil leakage in the box, you can tighten the bolts of the end cover a little bit. If this does not work, you may have to replace it with a new seal packing.
3.4. Maintenance of other supporting equipment
For the maintenance of various supporting equipment including motors, electric actuators, instruments, meters, etc., please refer to their respective operating instructions. These operating instructions are provided by various supporting manufacturers, and our manufacturer will provide these instructions to users in a random box.
3.5. Maintenance when the fan is out of use
When the fan is out of use, when the ambient temperature is lower than 5°C, the remaining water in the equipment and pipelines should be discharged to avoid freezing the equipment and pipelines.
3.6. Maintenance work when the fan is parked for a long time and is not in use
(1) Coat the surface of bearings and other main parts with anti-rust oil to avoid corrosion.
(2) Every half a month or so, the rotor of the fan should be manually moved by hand to rotate half a circle (that is, 180°). Before moving, mark the shaft end so that the original top point is at the bottom after moving the rotor. .
