Causes of faults during fan operation

1. The fan vibrates severely:

(1) Friction between the casing or the air inlet and the impeller;

(2) The rigidity of the foundation is insufficient or weak;

(3) The impeller rivet is loose or the shaft disc is deformed;

(4) The impeller shaft and the shaft are loose;

(5) The connecting bolts of the casing and bracket, bearing seat and bracket, bearing seat and bearing cover are loose;

(6) Poor installation of the fan outlet pipe causes resonance;

(7) There are dust and dirt on the blades, and the rotor is unbalanced;

(8) Blade wear and impeller deformation;

(9) When the coupling is directly driven, the fan shaft and the motor shaft are not concentric, the coupling is skewed, and the coupling bolt is loose. The belt drive is the misalignment of the pulley groove.

2. The bearing temperature rise is too high:

(1) The bolts of the air-cooled plate are loose, causing the self-cooling failure or the air-cooling plate to accumulate dust and dirt and need to be removed;

(2) The bearing seat vibrates severely;

(3) Lubricating grease is of poor quality, deteriorated or filled too much or contains dust, sticky sand, dirt and other impurities;

(4) The tightening force of the connecting bolts of the bearing cap is too large or too small;

(5) The installation of the shaft and the rolling bearing is skewed, and the front and rear shafts are not concentric;

(6) The shaft is bent or the rolling bearing is damaged.

3. The motor current is too large or the temperature rise is too high:

(1) When driving, the gate of the inlet (outlet) trachea is not closed tightly;

(2) The flow exceeds the specified value or the air duct leaks;

(3) The density of the gas delivered by the fan is too high or the temperature is too low, making the pressure too high;

(4) The spindle speed exceeds the rated value;

(5) Motor input voltage is too low or single-phase power failure;

(6) Affected by the deterioration of the working conditions of parallel fans;

(7) The coupling is not connected properly, the rubber ring is too tight or the gap is uneven;

(8) Affected by severe vibration of the bearing housing.

4. The corner belt slides down: the position of the two triangle belt groove wheels are not in the same center line

5. The corner belt is too loose: the corner belt is worn and elongated, so that the corner belt is too loose, and the center belt length of the two triangle pulleys is not commensurate. The distance between the motor and the main shaft on the motor slide rail should be adjusted.
